“We are thrilled to announce that our project, the Museu do Azeite (Olive Oil Museum), has been selected as a finalist for the ‘7 Wonders of Portugal’ (7 Maravilhas de Portugal) in the 21st-Century Architecture category. Out of 147 finalist projects nationwide, we have officially moved forward to the public vote.
This recognition represents far more than just heritage; it embodies a story, our identity, our culture, and the resilience of our region. It is even more meaningful to be representing a low-density territory from the country’s interior. Beyond showcasing the Portuguese interior, we are here to share our values, our people, our traditions, our authenticity, our unique heritage, and unforgettable memories.
