It was with a basis of a know-how of more than 30 years inside the world of the olives and olive oil, that António Dias, born and raised in Bobadela, and his closest family dreamed about the idea of built a museum. After sharing it with the architect Vasco Teixeira, he idealized the building of the museum as the exactly shape of an olive tree branch, where you can easily dive in inside the giants olives and leaves while you travelled through different ages.
